, Download New Movie In 2005, when Steven Spielberg asked Michael Bay to direct the first ever live-action Transformers film, he dismissed it as a “ stupid toy movie ” and deemed the first draft of the script as “ too kiddie ”. Bay would come around on the former after he learnt about the Transformers mythology from the makers Hasbro, but he didn't budge on the latter aspect and asked the film's writers to increase the role of the military, which they did. The move away from being a kid-oriented movie, along with Bay's penchant for action sequences that defied comprehension and overtly-convoluted plots, would prove to be the franchise's repeated undoing critically, even as the various instalments ate up the box office. The new Transformers prequel spin-off Bumblebee , from Kubo and the Two Strings director Travis Knight working off a script by writer Christina Hodson — she's working on two upcoming DC movies, Birds of Prey and Batgirl — is exactly what Transformer...

, Download New Movie Silukkuvaarpatti Singam movie review: When a story is this flimsy, it is impossible to get invested in a single character. Silukkuvarupatti Singam movie cast: Vishnuu Vishal, Regina Cassandra Silukkuvarupatti Singam movie director: Chella Ayyavu Silukkuvarupatti Singam movie rating: 2 stars Silukkuvarupatti Singam is yet another run-of-the-mill comedy film that is filled with crass and sexist jokes. Vishnuu Vishal plays Sakthi aka Sathyamoorthy, a constable who doesn’t care about his job and is extremely passionate about his half-boiled egg (go figure!). He is accompanied by Bhaskar (Karunakaran), another constable who wants to do his job well but isn’t allowed to because of the attitude of every other cop around him. Bigg Boss fame Oviya whose cameo was highly publicized is introduced in the film even before her entry as all the principal characters in the film have objectified her in the first two minutes of the film. The villain is Cycle Shankar, a ...

, Download New Movie Adanga Maru movie review: This Jayam Ravvi starrer is strictly a one-time watch. Adanga Maru movie cast: Jayam Ravvi, Raashi Khanna, Ponvannan, Sampath Raj Adanga Maru movie director: Karthik Thangavel Adanga Maru movie rating: 3 stars Karthik Thanigavel’s Adanga Maru starts off with the usual entry scene of any cop-based film in Kollywood. The low-angle shot starting from his boots, the slow-mo, the over-dramatic BGM and even a random act of heroism where he saves a student from a fire-torch is used to introduce Subash (Jayam Ravi). He is a new Sub-Inspector who has been on the job for only 4 days and yet he is asked to handle a protest situation involving students. In the first half, the movie is in a hurry to establish the core qualities of Subash. He is dedicated to his family. He is a doting uncle who loves his nieces. He is also all set to tie the knot with his longtime girlfriend Anita (Rashi Khanna). We also learn that he is a hacker and can th...

We are, of course, given details why. The menacing Beeja is shown reading ‘Dead Souls’, and calls himself the God of death. He has long and unkempt hair. His eyes convey a lot of emotions including anger, betrayal, hatred and agony. Cut back to the dhoti-clad-moustache-twirling Maari, who arrives in style. Maari, as we know, is a local thug. He kills, kidnaps and smuggles. But he does things on his own terms. At the same time, he is someone who respects friendship and appreciates loyalty. He has a golden heart. (Maybe, that’s why he has fat gold chains around his neck? I don’t know). He is shown like an...
